Danielle Shanahan Joins HOKA ONE ONE NAZ Elite

FLAGSTAFF, (AZ) – June 22, 2018 – HOKA ONE ONE and Northern Arizona Elite is excited to announce the signing of Danielle Shanahan. The former Loyola Marymount University star will make her debut this weekend at the USATF Outdoor Championships on Sunday in the 5000 meter run.

Shanahan capped off a tremendous collegiate career at LMU, under the tutelage of Coach Scott Guerrero, with a 43rd place finish at the 2017 NCAA Cross Country Championships. Shanahan began her post-collegiate career in the spring of 2018 while finishing her masters degree in educational studies. She promptly set personal bests at 10,000 meters (32:55.04), 5,000 meters (15:37.27) and 1500 meters (4:16.36).

“We are thrilled to have Danielle joining our team,” Rosario said. “She is talented, she is a positive person and she is hungry to see just how good she can be.”

Shanahan will join the team this summer in Flagstaff to begin training with HOKA NAZ Elite.

“I am so excited to be a part of NAZ Elite and HOKA ONE ONE. I have big goals for the coming years, and I could not ask for a better environment to help me achieve them”, said Shanahan.
